Welcome!

We are thrilled to be partnering with the Corjl editing platform to bring you instant download editable templates! We want you to have the very best experience possible with your new template so that it is FUN and EASY for you to personalize! Please feel free to visit our FAQ page or Contact Us with any further questions you may have!

Basic Text Editing & Fonts

PERSONALIZE - Open the layers panel by clicking the down arrow on the bottom right side of your screen, then click to select the layer of text you want to change OR simply directly select the text you want to change within the template by clicking on it. You will then edit the text within the text box located to the right of the page on top of the layers panel. Click on the current text within the text box, hold and drag to highlight text within the text box. Once highlighted, replace the current text by simply typing your own text.

FONT - Select the text you want to change. Click on the fonts drop down menu in the tools panel and select from a variety of designer premium fonts. Available fonts will vary by template and have been carefully selected to complement your design.

COLOR - Select the text you want to change. Click on the color rectangle in the tools panel to choose a new color. A variety of carefully selected coordinating colors have been preset for your convenience.  Simply click on the preset color you wish to use. Multi colored text can be used in a single text box by highlighting only the letter(s) you want to change and selecting a new color from the preset color palette.

FONT SIZE - Click the drop down menu in the tools panel to select a preset font size. To select a more specific size simply type the number in the box and hit enter. You can also click and drag the gray corner anchor points (circles) to resize text boxes which will constrain text proportions. Any editable images can also be resized using this same method.

ADD TEXT BOX - To add a new text box, click on Add Text Box button in the tools panel. Click and drag the text box where you want it to be placed within the template. Resize your text box using the anchor points (gray circles). Add your text and personalizations. To duplicate a desired font style, color and size from an existing text box, simply duplicate the text box by right clicking with your mouse and select Duplicate.  Simply delete current text in new text box and replace with your new text.

Save, Download & Print

SAVE - Save your edited design before downloading as the downloaded file cannot be edited and will only include changes that have been saved. If there is a red star (*) next to the title of the design within Corjl, it means that there are changes that have not been saved. If you need to make additional changes, do so in Corjl and then save and download again. Locate the SAVE button on the left side of the screen. If the Save button is not visible, click the double arrow icon on the bottom left of the screen to open the save and download tools panel. Select again to collapse panel.

DOWNLOADABLE FORMATS

PDF FORMAT - Recommended for Home Printing

CHOOSE PAPER SIZE - If downloading as a PDF, select the paper size. The size of the design will remain the same regardless of the paper size chosen.

ENABLE MULTIPLES PER PAGE - Select Print Multiples Per Page If Possible and the design will download with multiple copies onto the designated paper, if possible.

ADD BLEED & TRIM MARKS - Your design may include a bleed (.25 extra edge around the design) and trim marks. Choose to include the bleed and trim marks to allow for easier trimming, if desired. For best results, use a paper cutter or trimmer.

SELECT PAGE(S) TO DOWNLOAD - Download individual pages or all pages at once.

DOWNLOAD & PRINT - After downloading, find the file in your Downloads folder or the designated location you selected when downloading. For home printing, be sure that the file prints at 100% or Actual Size in the print settings (Scale to Fit).

Where to print Digital Downloads

Personalized party printables and home decor has become increasingly popular as our lives get busier and busier. Here at Scrap Bits, we offer a variety of prntable labels, invitations and party decor to style your parties quickly! But a common question come up often: where to actually print these digital downloads?

To get the highest quality print, you have to ensure the colors are true to the original and the material is durable. Not to mention the technical aspects of preparing digital files for printing. In this article, we’ll guide you through some great printing tips and options on where to print.

Let's get started.

Understanding File Types
Understanding the difference in File Types is essential in knowing the best way to have your files printed.

JPEG Files
A digital JPEG file works just like a digital photograph & can be printed at any local photo lab such as CVS or Walgreens, with an online printing service (check vendor accepted file types) or at home just as you would print any normal digital photo

PDF Files
A digital PDF File is good for printing on your own at home or at any office supply store like Kinkos or Staples.

Printing At Home

One of the benefits of our digital files and templates is that you can print from the convenience of your own home! PDF format with trim marks is best for quality printing at home (multiples per page is recommended to save paper). White matte card stock of 100 lb. or higher is recommended. Color inkjet printers set to maximum quality will produce the best results when printing at home. All designs are created in high resolution. If there are issues with print quality, it is likely due to improper printer settings, weight, style or color of paper, ink levels, etc. We are unable to troubleshoot specifi computer or printer issues, but we will attempt to help in any way that we can.

Professional Printing

If you’re considering a professional online printer, we highly recommend Prints of Love. Scrap Bits has partnered with them to offer fast, high quality, affordable printing with 2-3 dayshipping in the U.S.! FREE ENVELOPES included for Invitation and Note Card orders! For every order placed using our link below, a tree will be planted in your name! You will receive a quality product while helping protect the environment! Win, win!

You may also print at your local print shop, office supply store or online print lab, such as Mpix.comZazzle.comOffice Max/DepotStaplesWalmart (select premium card stock, not photo paper) etc. JPG format with bleed is often recommended for professional printing but some print shops will accept or prefer PDF. Simply save the files and deliver on a USB flash drive, send via email or upload online to the printer of your choice.

Printing Digital Round Labels
If you are purchasing a pre-personalized, digital round label from one of our stock designs, a single JPEG digital image will be sent to be used with labelstock template of choice for stickers or tags. For Stickers, the image can be used and placed individually in your preferred brand design template or online printing software. We recommend the Design & Print Online service at Avery.com. Please note that round label templates appear square when you download them, however they are cut round when uploaded to a round label template. For Tags, we recommend printing on white matte cardstock (110lb or more). You can use pre-cut stock or hand punch. These images are typically provided at 3" diameter (see notes below on how to re-size smaller).

Resizing Round Labels:
The 3” round labels can be printed in smaller sizes by placing the JPEG image individually in your preferred brand design template or uploaded online and then resizing the image. This can be done in programs like Microsoft Word, but we recommend the Design & Print Online service at Avery.com to print directly to one of their pre-cut labelstock sheets for easy alignment.

Printing Digital Square Labels
If you are purchasing a pre-personalized, digital square label from one of our stock designs, a digital PDF file at 8.5"x11" will be sent with 6 tags at 2.5" square. For Tags, we recommend printing on white matte cardstock (110lb or more). You can use pre-cut stock or hand punch. For Stickers, we recommend printing on full-sheet labelstock and trimming by hand using trim marks.

Tall Tags + Others
If you are purchasing a pre-personalized, digital square label from one of our stock designs, a digital PDF file at 8.5"x11" will be sent with multiple tags (see listing). For Tags, we recommend printing on white matte cardstock (110lb or more). You can use pre-cut stock or hand punch. For Stickers, we recommend printing on full-sheet labelstock and trimming by hand using trim marks.

Printing from Digital Editable Templates
If you purchased an editable template, you will have the option to download as either a JPG single image or as a PDF sheet with multiple per page. See below for more tips on how to use these file types.

JPEG (Recommended): We recommend the Single Digital Image to be used with your labelstock template of choice. The JPEG image can be used and placed individually in your preferred brand design template or online printing software. We recommend the Design & Print Online service at Avery.com. Please note that round label templates appear square when you download them, however they are cut round when uploaded to a round label template. See notes below for resizing.

PDF: This is a Digital PDF Sheet with multiple tags.
This option is NOT recommended for use the any pre-cut labelstock. It is for hand-cut labels or tags only.
